M3X Tactial Light Question
Does anyone know where I can purchase just a holster for this light for a duty belt? It is far to big of a pain in the @!# to get a new gun holster so this is the lesser of two evils. I tried their actually website but there is nothing for just the light. Thanks.

Uncle Mike's
Uncle Mike's (michaels of oregon) makes a belt clip type holder where the light slides onto the rail on the clip. It can be carried in a downward or upward direction. It costs between 11-13 dollars.

FightinIrish, I'm curious as to why you just want the holster for the light. I ask because if you are going to use the light on a duty weapon at night, I think you should have a holster that accomodates the light and the weapon.
In a high stress environment, your fine motor skills will decrease and/or with adrenaline, you could be shaking, etc. Say you have the light on your gun and a suspect appears, unarmed, and you need to go "hands on". To re-holster, you have to take off the light, put it on the light holster, THEN, re-holster your weapon. This would take time and dexterity which you might not have.
If you are getting the light for the weapon then spend the money and get the right holster like the Safariland 6280/6004. Practice with it many times before you wear it on duty, and if you need more security on it, buy the sentry guard.
Good luck,

Great question here is the answer ,, I purchased a new safariland holster from www.qmuniforms.com they have the best prices and they sell just the holster for the tac light itself.. The safariland was a steal at 65$ for my glock and taclite setup.. the cheapest i have seen i went to my local police gear shop and they wanted 140$ for the same holster.. Also Swatgear.com sells the light holster.. hope this helps ..
