Anyone heading to the conference in August?
I read thru the conference outline today and would LOVE to go. I'm trying to talk my hubby into going - but he's not in the emergency services sector and wouldn't attend any of the lectures, and doesn't gamble, so thinks he'll be bored by himself for the days.

We just finished a 3 day conference here for Police Communicators around Ontario. It happens every year at this time and difference Services hosted it. This year my Service hosted and I think it was splendid.
We had talks on Relationship Terrorism, PTSD, Hostage Negotiations, Mental Health issues and demosnstations from our tactical team and K9. If you have a chance, look up Kelly Rasmussen of Success Communications - we brought her up from the States, and it was well worth it. She is presenting at APCO this year.
