On the nyc dcas website, under public safety and inspection. It opened yesterday. They also seem to have fallem victim to the 25,100 salary, but they increase to 32,700 after 6 months, just like NYPD. After 5.5 years they go upto 63,309, which I believe is higher than NYPD.

    The educational requirements are confusing.

If you have 60 semester hours in Criminal Justice are you qualifed?

Having 60 credits in any field in and of itself is not sufficient. Basically what the announcment is saying is that 30 credits equals 6 months of experience. 60 credits equals 1 year, and you would therefore need 1 more year of experience in one of the areas listed. A bachelor's degree by itself is qualifying because 120 credits equals 2 years experience according to their formula.
